Antenatal
The Midwife (who works alongside the practice) gives advice on all aspects of your pregnancy and visits mothers and babies after the baby is born. We can also offer new mothers a designated area for breastfeeding if required.
Specialist Public Health Practitioner
The Specialist Public Health Practitioner (formerly known as a health visitor and school nurse) works closely with the practice and gives advice and monitors the health and development of children.
Family Planning
We offer a full contraceptive service by consultation with any of the doctors or nurses.
Smear Tests
Please make an appointment to see the nurse.
Travel Health
We offer immunisation and health advice on foreign travel. If you are planning a trip abroad please inform the surgery as soon as possible in order that a travel assessment can be undertaken by the practice nurse. A travel form needs to be completed and handed back to the surgery prior to your appointment with the practice nurse, who will then assess your vaccination status/requirements. More information is available on the above Travel Vaccinations tab.
